De Franse actrice Jeanne Moreau is vandaag overleden. Ze werd bekend door de vele rollen in cult-films, onder meer Querelle van Rainer Werner Fassbinder uit 1982, gebaseerd op een boek van Jean Genet. Daarin zong ze onder meer een oude hit van haar. Die tekst komt weer uit The Ballad of Reading Gaol van Oscar Wilde.
