De Omaanse schrijfster Jokha Alharthi kan 25.000 Britse ponden op haar bankrekening bijschrijven, want ze heeft met haar boek Celestial Bodies de Man Booker International prize 2019 gewonnen. De prijs voor het beste in het Engels vertaalde boek. Haar vertaalster Marilyn Booth krijgt de andere 25.000 Britse ponden. Bettany Hughes, voorzitster van de jury zegt:
