De jury bestaat dit jaar uit: William Kentridge, Natalie Diaz, Eleanor Wachtel, Aaron Robertson eb Romesh Gunesekera. Over het boek van Posthuma zeggen ze:

Op dinsdag 21 mei wordt bekend wie de winnaar is. Nederland heeft tot nu toe één winnaar gekend en dat Lucas Rijneveld die in 2020 de prijs won.
